Putting the footer into Japanese

今の状態

サイトはほぼ全体が日本語になりましたが、どのページにも出る一番下のフッターだけ、リンクの文字が英語のまま残っています。リンクが7つと、その見出しの「Shopping Guide」です。

Almost the whole site now reads in Japanese, but the footer at the bottom of every page still shows its links in English: seven links, plus the heading that sits above them.

今回の校正で直せなかった理由

Shopifyの翻訳欄は、リンクの情報を持っていません。管理画面の中身を調べたところ、日本語側にはリンクそのものが無く、文字しか入れられない作りでした。ここに日本語を入れると、リンクが外れてただの文字になります。特定商取引法のページは法律上いつでもお客様が開ける必要があるため、リンクが生きている状態を優先して、英語のまま残しました。

Shopify's translation panel does not carry link information. Looking at the admin itself, the Japanese side holds no link at all; only plain text can go in. Type Japanese there and the link comes off, leaving bare words. The Specified Commercial Transactions Act page has to stay reachable by law, so I kept the footer in English rather than break the links.

日本語でご覧のお客様が、送料や返品、特定商取引法といった、買う直前に確かめる場所で英語に当たらなくなります。

Customers reading in Japanese stop meeting English at the very place they check before buying: delivery, returns, and the legal page.

進め方

1. 今のフッター設定とテーマを保存してから触ります。
   Back up the current footer settings and theme before touching anything.
2. テーマ側で日本語のメニューを作り、7つのリンク先を貼り直します。見出しも日本語にします。
   Build a Japanese menu on the theme side, rebuild the seven links on it, and put the heading into Japanese as well.
3. 日本語で見ているときだけ日本語のメニューが出るようにします。
   Set it so the Japanese menu appears only when the site is viewed in Japanese.
4. 英語表示に切り替えて、元のまま変わっていないことを1件ずつ確認します。
   Switch to English and check, one by one, that the English side is untouched.
5. パソコンとスマートフォンで7つのリンクを実際に押し、正しいページが開くことを確認します。
   Click all seven links on desktop and phone and confirm each opens the right page.

今の状態

44商品の書き方は揃えましたが、その基準はどこにも書かれていません。このままだと、これから商品を足すときにまた揺れます。

The wording across the 44 products is now consistent, but the rules behind it are not written down anywhere. As things are, the next products you add will drift again.

文体と語尾／商品名の作り方（スペースの位置）／石の効能の言い回し／揺れやすい言葉の「使う・使わない」の対／価格・送料・日数の書き方／商品を1点足すときの手順。この6つです。

Sentence style and endings; how product names are built, including where the space goes; the phrasing for stone meanings; a use / do-not-use pair for each word that tends to drift; how prices, shipping and time periods are written; and the steps for adding a single new product. Six sections in all.

進め方

1. 納品済みの44商品と固定8ページから、実際に使った表現を集めます。
   Collect the wording actually used across the 44 products and 8 fixed pages.
2. 「使う形」と「使わない形」を対にして整理します。
   Set each rule down as a pair: the form to use, and the form to avoid.
3. A4・1枚（日本語と英語の併記）にまとめてお渡しします。
   Deliver it as a single A4 page, in Japanese with English alongside.
